Mary Rosalie Stoner is a sixth-year Ph.D. student in the Program in Classical Languages and Literatures. She received her AB in Classics summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a certificate in Medieval Studies from Princeton University in 2015.

Her interests include ancient education, the relationship of rhetoric with philosophy and morality, and early Christian reception of the classical tradition. She is currently finishing her dissertation on the figure of the vir bonus dicendi peritus in Quintilian's Institutio Oratoria.
