Rik Peters earned his BA in philosophy and classics and MA in philosophy from the University of Amsterdam, as well as an MA in classics from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He taught courses on the philosophy of science, metaphysics and Foucault before coming to Chicago to pursue a joint PhD in classics and social thought.
