Julia’s book, The Body Politic in Roman Political Thought (University of Cambridge Press, 2024) stems from her dissertation, completed in 2017 under the supervision of Michèle Lowrie, with Clifford Ando and Shadi Bartsch in her committee. Congratulations to the proud advisors! After holding lectureships at Cornell College, Mt. Vernon (IA) and au UC San Diego, Julia has held a tenure-track job at Indiana University in Bloomington, as Assistant Professor in Classical Studies.
