I am currently writing a dissertation titled "Poetic Forms of Life: Reading Horace and his Virgil," in which I seek to describe the salient features of a conceptual space that we can call "form of life" in the poetry of Virgil and Horace. Broadly, I am interested in literary history and poetics. Besides Virgil and Horace, authors of interest include Theocritus, Catullus, Nietzsche, and Giorgio Agamben. I am a joint degree student in the Classics Department and the Committee on Social Thought; my undergraduate degree is in Classics from the University of Chicago (2011).
